We collect your email address and name when you register. We store the financial transactions you import — either by uploading a bank statement file or forwarding bank emails. We never collect your bank username, password, or any banking credentials.
EasyFinance does not connect to your bank account. We do not use Plaid, Yodlee, or any open-banking API. We never see your bank login credentials. Your bank relationship stays entirely between you and your bank.
Your transaction data is used solely to power your EasyFinance dashboard, budgets, and AI chat. We use Google Gemini AI to categorise transactions and answer your questions. Your data is never sold to third parties or used for advertising.
All data is stored on servers within the EU on encrypted storage. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections use TLS. We maintain an immutable audit log of all data changes.
You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Export Data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Both are self-service and take effect immediately.
Transaction data is retained as long as your account is active. AI chat history is automatically deleted after 90 days. Deleted accounts are anonymised immediately and fully purged within 30 days.

The short version
